Event Terms & Conditions - Dinner & Dance

1. Agreement & Acceptance

1.1 By purchasing a ticket, you (“Ticket Holder”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1.2 These terms form the contract between the Organiser and the Ticket Holder.
1.3 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time prior to the event; updated terms will be published on this website.

2. Ticket Use

2.1 Tickets are valid only for the event and date stated on the ticket.

2.2 Tickets are for personal use only and are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Organiser.

2.3 Tickets purchased for ages (if applicable) must not be used by someone outside the age range specified.

3. Entry & Admission

3.1 Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket.

3.2 Admission is at the Organiser’s discretion and may be refused without refund for reasons including but not limited to: breach of these Terms, unruly behaviour, drunkenness, offensive conduct, use of prohibited items or failure to comply with venue staff instructions.

3.3 The Organiser may require ID or proof of purchase to verify ticket validity.

4. Event Changes, Cancellation, Rescheduling

4.1 The Organiser may make reasonable changes to the event, including time, venue, format or talent.

4.2 If the event is cancelled entirely by the Organiser, ticket holders will usually be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket (the price printed on the ticket) — not including booking, service, processing fees or other charges unless required by law.
4.3 If the event is rescheduled and you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund in accordance with the refund process below.
4.4 There is no automatic right to a refund if an event goes ahead as planned and you choose not to attend for personal reasons.

5. Refunds

5.1 Refunds due to cancellation or rescheduling must be requested via the method specified on the website or ticket confirmation.

5.2 Refunds will normally be processed within a reasonable period (commonly 14 days) unless legal conditions require otherwise.
5.3 Ticket fees such as booking or processing charges may not be refundable if not required by law; check the relevant fee policy before purchase.
5.4 You are not entitled to compensation for travel, accommodation or other personal costs if the event is cancelled or changed.

6. Accessibility & Disability

6.1 The Organiser is committed to compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and strives to make the event accessible to everyone.

6.2 Reasonable adjustments will be made where practical (e.g., wheelchair access, assistance seating) but in some circumstances venue or event limitations may restrict accessibility.
6.3 If a wheelchair user wishes to bring a carer, the Ticket Holder must provide appropriate proof of need (e.g., a carer’s card or equivalent documentation) at time of booking or entry. Adjustments will be made where reasonable, but admission remains subject to Organiser and venue policies.

6.4 Advance notice of specific accessibility requirements (e.g., hearing loop, dietary needs) should be given at time of booking so we can reasonably accommodate requests.

7. Conduct & Health & Safety

7.1 Attendees must comply with all venue safety rules, staff instructions, and applicable law.

7.2 Unacceptable or dangerous behaviour may lead to ejection without refund.

7.3 The Organiser and venue do not accept liability for personal injury except where caused by proven negligence.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

8.1 Personal data collected during booking will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.

8.2 Contact information may be used to communicate event changes or safety information.

9. Photos, Recording & Publicity

9.1 The Organiser reserves the right to take photos and videos at the event; attendees consent to such use for promotional purposes unless they notify the Organiser in advance.
9.2 Unauthorised professional photography or recording may be prohibited.

10. Third Parties & Resale

10.1 Buying or selling tickets via unofficial secondary markets may void tickets and can lead to refusal of entry.

10.2 Any resale of tickets must comply with applicable law and these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 To the extent allowed by law, the Organiser’s liability is limited to the face value of the ticket.
11.2 We are not liable for indirect losses or third-party costs (e.g., travel, accommodation).

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (unless stated otherwise), and disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
