We engaged Shama to organise and stage  the entertainment for the 10th anniversary of Elevation Wealth Management .

This included dancers, band and DJ in addition to providing all of the set. Support was very professional - didn’t have anything drop - and the results were brilliant . Having met Shama and the 515 Crew at a couple of events I photographed over he last 2 years, it was without question that we would be using them whenever we had a family event. Last weekend, my brother and I threw our parents a surprise 65th birthday party and I was super excited to have secured a booking for this auspicious occasion with the 515 crew and they most certainly didn’t disappoint!!! They arrived promptly to setup and worked within the limited space we had at our venue without any complaints. I asked Shama if the group would be able to play a handful of my dads favourite songs from the 70’s and 80’s era including Santana, Wilson Picket and James Brown and although it was material that they hadn’t done before, they took time to rehearse in the week and surprised us with their amazing delivery on the main night. My dad and guests were over the moon! I’ve had nothing but positive comments from our guests on the 515 Crew’s super professional musical ability and singing. Their Indian songs took our guests back into time and found it refreshing to hear some of the old bollywood songs with a modern and current feel. I really cannot express how delighted myself, my parents and our guests are with the 515 Crew. 

 

I dealt with Shama from the initial phone call to check on the teams availability and she’s always been a pleasure to deal with including on the night itself. I most certainly will be using them when we have another event and will be recommending them to my clients too!

Rajeev, I and both our families would really like to thank Shama, Nimesh, Chirag & 515 crew for the amazing performance at our wedding celebration on 30th April 2016.  We were nervous about the evening itself and how it would pan out but Shama and her team really made it the most memorable night. 

I booked Shama and 515 crew without having seen them perform before but can honestly say it was the best decision I made. Right from the time of booking, Shama was the easiest person to approach and deal with and conversations with her were so supportive and comforting which made a real difference when planning a wedding. 

We didn't have to provide any direction, the group are so versatile and did an incredible job, playing a huge range of songs from old classics to new to English. Woooo, Shama and the 515 crew, what a fantastic group of musicians and entertainers. Shama and the crew turned our Mehfil night into a storm. Every conversation about the party with our friends has started with comments about Shama and the band. The comments range from ‘…her voice is like an instrument…’, ‘…the band can play, man…’, ‘…I’m converted to Hindi music…’, ‘…the signers got the most amazing voices…’, ‘…these guys are craftsmen…’, ‘…the young guy on the left - so cute..’ and…

 

From the first conversation when I was making enquiries about dates to the day after the event you are dealing with a warm, professional artists that brings clarity to all the big stuff and the fine details. We appreciated a whole bunch of free advice from Shama before the event and the odd email every so often to ensure everything was on track.

 

On the day the best thing we did was relax and leave the music in the hands of the pros – this what they do. They controlled the tempo, the songs and had the guests captivated from the get go. Apart from playing the expected Bollywood and Punjabi tunes that got everyone swaying and dancing and they even squeezed a Bob Marley tune or two.

I found Shama to be a wonderful delight to work with. We recently hired her and her band to perform at my sister's Sangeet night. In the build up to the event Shama was excellent to deal with. She solved a lot of our logistical issues and her team and particularly her sound engineer were all overly helpful and highly professional. And most importantly, after all the planning and all the stress comes the night; and the singing was just exceptional. Within minutes people were up and dancing and one of the greatest compliments we've had about the night was the music and the singing. Shama and her band, The 515 Crew were exceptional in making my wedding reception a night many of us will never forget.

Being passionate about live music, I was adamant that the evening’s entertainment had to centre around a band and I was not left disappointed. The music was exceptional, diverse and energising which had everybody on their feet. Shama, Chirag and Nimesh were versatile singers who played to the crowd changing the tempo when required. Friday 5th December – What a night!  I think that at our Sunday reception, it was the talk of all the guests who had attended.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening, your band were amazing and your guest vocalist (cannot remember his name) simply knocked the audience out.  His ability to sing popular Indian, Classical, Qawali and western Pop left the younger audience screaming for more.  We exceeded the allotted time by 40 minutes and in all honesty, I really think we could have easily gone on for another two hours.  Absolutely superb evening and one that will be remembered for many years.  Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again really soon.
